If you’re reading this page, it means your instance of the LiveWhale CMS has been successfully installed.  High five!!

This set of pages is LiveWhale’s “welcome kit.”  The welcome kit includes basic instructions for some of the first things you’ll need to do with a LiveWhale installation, and links to some of the people and websites that you might turn to for help.  

However, it’s also designed as a starter template for your Web pages, if you choose to use it.  These pages are built on LiveWhale’s core theme: a simple, responsive framework, with only a basic amount of styling applied.

You can modify the CSS of this core theme very extensively, and change template layouts as desired, to create your own theme on this base; or you can use your own CSS and HTML templates and let LiveWhale provide only basic styling for things like calendars, photo galleries, etc.  It’s up to you.
